Long regarded as one of the most iconic sports cars on the market, the 911 GT3 is the pinnacle of German engineering and design. Capable of hitting 60 MPH in just 3.3 seconds, this supercar packs a powerful punch but where it really shines is its handling. This Race a Porsche experience will give you the opportunity to experience the precision of 4-wheel steering as you navigate the curves of a world-class road course!
Your day at the track will start with an approximately 20-30 minute classroom session where your professional instructor will go over racing tips, proper driving position, steering techniques, braking and acceleration with powerful vehicles like the Porsche, and how to find the optimum racing lines on the course. Once complete, you'll be sent down to the pit to be fitted for your helmet and to prepare yourself for the thrill of a lifetime!
Finally, you will take the driver's seat and have the opportunity to unleash on the course for 3, heart-pumping laps. Your instructor will be in the passenger seat the entire time, giving you real-time feedback and pointers on how to get the most out of the course!
Dominion Raceway: Located between Washington, DC and Richmond, VA the Dominion Raceway is a new motorsports complex known as a racer's amusement park. The 2 mile road course features over 60 feet of elevations changes, 12 challenging turns and an impressive 2,700-foot straightaway giving you the opportunity to reach speeds well over 100 MPH! Test it out for yourself and fulfill your need for speed!
Add a High Speed Ride Along: Want to get the most our of your driving experience? Add a High Speed Ride Along in a 415 horsepower Chevy SS with a professional driver! Your driver will take you and up to two additional participants for 3 laps of high speed, full throttle racing. This is your chance to learn invaluable track tips so when it's your turn behind the wheel you'll have the best experience possible.

Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9 Living's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, all bookings are final, no refunds or exchanges for alternative Cloud 9 Living experiences are allowed. Rescheduling your time or switching vehicles (if available) within the same track location is allowed, for no additional fee, up to 48 hours prior to your booked date. If done so within 48 hours of your booked date a $100 fee will incur. You may reschedule or transfer to a different track location within 12 months of your original booking for a $50 fee. If you reschedule or transfer to a different track location outside of 12 months then you will have a credit with the experience provider to use towards one of their current packages.Experience ID

What are the requirements to drive?
Drivers must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
*The Porsche 911 GT3 is not recommended for drivers exceeding 6'5"due to limited cabin space.

Do I need to know how to drive manual transmission?
No! All vehicles are equipped with a no-clutch, paddle shift on the wheel which you will be taught to use.

Are there any height or weight restrictions?
In general, all participants must not exceed 6'8" and weigh more than 350 pounds. However, the Porsche 911 GT3 is not recommended for drivers over 6'5" due to limited cabin space. Please contact the experience provider directly with any concerns about fitting. They may recommend you reserve a different vehicle.

Are photos/video available?
There are multiple photo/video options available for purchase on the day of your experience. Photo packages start at $29 and are available in a printed sleeve or digitally. Video packages start at $49 and are provided on a USB flash drive.

What track insurance policy is included?
The minimum $39 insurance policy is included. The policy includes $20,000 coverage with a $5,000 deductible. You are welcome to upgrade your insurance policy on the day of your experience to one of the below packages.

Do I need any previous racing experience?
Nope - This experience is meant to give the average car-lover an opportunity to race their dream car! You will have a 25-30 minute classroom session prior to driving during which your professional instructors will go over safety information, details about your car and the track, and any other questions you might have!
