    Essential Information
    • Participants must be at least 10 years old
    • Maximum weight is 280 lbs per person due to aircraft specifications
    • This tour includes a modest amount of hiking on marked trails on uneven surfaces at elevations over 6,000 feet; total number of miles hiked each day varies, but is typically not more than 3 miles of cumulative walking
    • FAA-certified pilot and Mt. Rainier National Park hiking guide will lead your trip
    • National Park entrance fees are included as well as the use of adjustable trekking poles and binoculars for wildlife spotting
    • Guests on the morning tour will be transported to Mt. Rainier via private ground transport and return to Seattle on the helicopter.  Guests on the afternoon tour will arrive at Mt. Rainier via helicopter and return to Seattle on private ground transport. 
    • This tour requires a minimum of 3 people to run
    Duration
    Approximately 7 hours with up to 2 hours of hiking. There will be many stops, allowing for rest and gorgeous panoramic photos. The helicopter flight lasts approximately 35 minutes and travel on the ground transportation is about 2 hours.

    What can I expect on the tour?

    You can expect to have a great time with friendly people and knowledgeable local tour guides. The goal is to have an amazing time while experiencing a thrilling helicopter ride and guided hike through the beautiful wilderness of Mt. Rainier.

    Is the tour wheelchair accessible?

    Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible

    What about dietary restrictions?

    Some dietary restrictions can be accommodated. If you have any particular requirements (allergies, vegan, vegetarian, etc.), please notify Cloud 9 at the time of booking.

    What type of helicopter will we be flying on?

    You will either be on a Robinson R44 or Airbus with a FAA-certified pilot.

    Are there any restrictions to participate?

    Participants must be at least 10 years old and weigh less than 280 lbs.

    Returns
    Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 30 days.  All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.

    Exchanges
    Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Cloud 9 Living.

    Cancellation Policy

    Once you have scheduled a date and received a confirmation, all booking for this experience are final and no cancellations or rescheduling is permitted. If the date is canceled due to inclement weather by the experience provider, you may reschedule your date directly with the experience provider.
