    Spectators can watch from the dock.
    Weather Dependent
    This lesson runs rain or shine, unless the weather is dangerous, such as thunderstorms. Please contact your experience provider with any questions about weather.
    What To Wear
    Dress in layers of comfortable clothing. If in doubt bring additional warm clothing. Extra hats, gloves, jackets, blankets, and rain gear can be provided the day of your experience.

    For this experience, our partners are taking extra measures to prevent any potential spread of COVID-19. These measures include enhancing CDC and LNI recommended protocols for sanitizing commonly used surfaces on an hourly basis. This includes an extra focus on high touch areas in each vessel before and after use. Employees will be screened daily for COVID-19 symptoms and are instructed to stay home and self-isolate if they experience symptoms. Staff will be wearing masks when social distancing isn't possible. Our partners request all guests to bring and wear face coverings at all times. They will be limiting the amount of people allowed on their experiences at this time. They will additionally be encouraging all to wash hands before and after their experience and to refrain from touching your face. Any customers feeling unwell are encouraged to call in to reschedule their reservation and stay home. These Covid-19 safety measures are subject to change.

    Are there age restrictions for the lesson?

    No, but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

    What should I wear?

    Dress in layers of comfortable clothing. If in doubt bring additional warm clothing. Extra hats, gloves, jackets, blankets, and rain gear can be provided the day of your experience.

    What if there is no wind?

    While there is usually wind on Lake Union and the slightest breeze is enough to move a sailboat, our partners do have electric motors onboard if they need to return to the shore without needing wind power.

    Returns
    Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 30 days.  All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.

    Exchanges
    Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Cloud 9 Living.

    Cancellation Policy

    Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, all bookings for this experience are final and no rescheduling or cancellations will be permitted.
