Located at the base of the majestic Rocky Mountains in beautiful Boulder, Colorado just 30 minutes northwest of Denver and 30 minutes southeast of Estes Park, this flight offers a year round change of scenery including mountain ranges, plains, and wildlife as far as the eye can see!

You will float majestically through the sky in a graceful hot air balloon enjoying the romance, the tranquility and the breathtaking views of the incredible, snow-capped Rocky Mountains.

Upon landing you will enjoy a traditional champagne toast; the perfect end to a perfect morning.

What to Wear:
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for weather conditions. Sneakers or other low heeled shoes are recommended.

Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 14 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given. Rescheduling is allowed up to 14 days prior to your experience, failure to appear on your booked date or to reschedule at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event your experience is canceled due to inclement weather you will reschedule your experience directly with your experience provider.

  1. Why is it only offered during sunrise?
    Due to climate conditions along the Front Range area of the Rocky Mountains, they can safely fly only in the early morning hours. 
  2. Can I help inflate the balloon?
    Yes!  It is encouraged to participate in both the inflation and deflation of the Balloon. 
  3. Are spectators allowed to follow the balloon?
    There is only enough room in the chase vehicles for the crew and passengers.  However, family members and friends are welcome to come and watch the festivities, but they must provide their own transportation.
  4. Can I bring my own camera?
    Yes!  Make sure to bring extra film/ batteries because the scenery is beautiful!
  5. Can I smoke?
    Both for safety reasons and in consideration of other passengers, it is requested that there be no smoking in or around the Balloon or any of the other motorized equipment.
