Sailing Fundamentals

Description:
Sailing is a wondrous activity that can reinvigorate us, and is something you can enjoy all through life.

Your lessons begins with 2 hours of classroom instruction where you will learn basic safety rules of your boat and the water, how to operate the sailboat, and what to do in case of capsize. From then on, you will be on the water for instruction in the skills of sailing.

By the end of the classes, you should feel comfortable enough to sail a Sunfish by yourself. Sailing time is near, welcome aboard!

Essential Information:
Participants must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent from a parent or guardian. All equipment will be provided.

Duration:
This package includes 2 sessions of 4 hours in length each.

Maximum Participants:
Up to 6 people per class

Spectators:
Allowed

Weather Dependent:
This experience is weather dependent. Always contact the Experience provider with any questions regarding weather conditions.

What to Wear:
Wear a swim suit as you will definately get wet in this class. Wear water shoes and t-shirts and covers must be white if worn. It is also recommended to bring a hat, sunscreen, sailing gloves and a change of clothes.

Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings 14 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rebooking are allowed up to 14 days prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and rebook at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.
