Rick Sessinghaus; Chevy Chase Country Club; Glendale, CA
Rick Sessinhaus, known as "Golf's Mental Coach", was named the 2008 Southern California PGA Metro Teacher of the Year. Rick is a Certified Golf Fitness Trainer with Titleist Performance Institute, an Advisory Staff Member for Wilson Staff Co., and currently serves as Director of Instruction for Chevy Chase Country Club.

Rick is an expert on the mindset principles that make or break performance on and off the course. His coaching has helped top junior, collegiate, and professional golfers reach new levels of performance.

He is an Instructional Editor for Golf Tips magazine, can be seen on Fox Sports Network as a mental game contributor, and his book Golf: The Ultimate Mind Game has been featured in national golf magazines and used by leading golf instructors across the country.

As a former professional golfer, Rick has now found more satisfaction helping others achieve their dreams than he did in his own competitive career. He evaluates each golfer on his or her fitness level, mental skills and technical skills to uncover the best path for improvement. Rick is an expert in all the performance factors that golfers need to reach their goals.

Mike Buroza; Los Verdes Golf Course; Rancho Palos Verdes
PGA Class A professional Mike Buroza has over 29 years of teaching experience, and currently serves as the Head Golf Professional at Los Verdes Golf Club.

Mike focuses his instruction on the basic fundamentals of a good golf swing: grip, stance, alignment, posture, tempo, balance and swing plane. Mike has helped golfers of all abilities improve their games.

Sean Lanyi; Black Gold Golf Club; Yorba Linda, CA
PGA Class A Professional Sean Lanyi currently serves as the Lead Instructor for the Golf Digest and Advantage Golf Schools at Black Gold Golf Club.

Sean has taught and been trained by some of the best instructors in the world including Jerry King, Jim Waldron, Stan Utley and Steve Soule.  He recently received a Top 50 US Kids Instructor award at the PGA Show, and he is also a Taylor Made Golf Staff Member.

Prior to his current role at Black Gold, Sean served as the PGA Director of Instruction at Ko Olina Golf Academy on Oahu, and as the Head Instructor at the PGA Tour Academy at TPC Las Vegas.

Sean has the ability to work with golfers of all ages, skill levels and learning styles and looks forward to instilling that passion in everyone he has the opportunity to teach.

Instructors are PGA Class A professionals who have completed a multi-year series of work, study and training in every aspect of golf. They have passed an aptitude test and must maintain his or her expertise through continuing education programs.

Yes, this experience is weather dependent. In the event your lesson is canceled due to weather, you will be able to reschedule your lesson with your instructor.

What to Wear:
All golfers must wear proper golf attire, including golf slacks or golf shorts and appropriate golf shoes. Men must wear collared shirts and women must wear appropriate golf shirts.

Booking Information:
It is recommended to request bookings 14 - 30 days in advance. Lesson dates and times are subject to your instructor's availability.

Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a lesson with your instructor, no returns or exchanges are allowed. Rescheduling will be subject to your selected instructor's rescheduling policy.

    No, your lesson will not be with a famous golfer from the professional tour. Rather, your lesson will be with a qualified instructor who has received his Class A certification from the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA).

    All of our instructors have been certified by the Professional Golf Association (PGA) as Class A professionals. In order to receive their PGA Class A, he or she must have completed a multi-year series of work, study and training in every aspect of golf, must pass an aptitude test, and must maintain his or her expertise through continuing education programs.
