"What an experience! My father and I went up in a Cessna 172 for a tour around Los Angeles as a Father's Day gift. When we arrived, our pilot instructor was very kind and was quick to have us up in the air in no time. He did a great deal of explanation and was patient with our learning curve. He really allowed for my father to take the controls and fly the aircraft on his own. My dad and I, being huge aviation enthusiasts, loved every second of it. My dad mentioned he had always wanted to fly a plane and Cloud 9 Living allowed him to fulfill his dreams! Staff was very kind and professional, and we would totally go back and recommend to a friend. "

"Absolutely amazing experience. Dan was an amazing pilot/instructor/tour guide. I originally purchased the VIP package, but due to weather I had to settle for the basic flight and Cloud 9 Living happily refunded the difference. Even though I have never been in a small aircraft before, flying wasn't too challenging and Dan guided me through every part of the process. I originally stumbled on Cloud 9 Living when searching for an exotic car rental, but when I found that I could fly for cheaper, it was a no-brainer. It was such an amazing experience that I'm now looking into getting my private pilot's license!"

"I did the Learn To Fly experience during a short visit from Germany (a week of vacation after some business in LA), and it might have been the most amazing thing I have done so far! Dan was a really great flight instructor, very easy going and made the experience enjoyable from the first moment. I was positively surprised how much of the 90 minutes were really spent in the air. There is only a brief explanation of instruments in the beginning and just like that, you find yourself starting an airplane on the runway, off towards the LA sun. Dan advised me perfectly on how to do things and really let me have control of the plane, much more so than I would have imagined beforehand. Cruising around the coast, downtown and the Hollywood sign was just amazing, and even landing seemed a simple thing and nothing to worry about with Dan's instructions. I can absolutely recommend this experience and am seriously thinking about repeating this or something similar in the future, maybe then with a helicopter?"
