Solo skydiving! Are you ready? After an extensive classroom you, and two highly skilled and specially trained instructors will board the plane for the ride to over 10,000 feet then all 3 of you will exit the plane.
Soaring through the air at 120 MPH your two instructors will be at your side assisting you as necessary to fall stable, monitor altitude, etc. until you deploy your parachute at 4,500 feet.
A ground instructor will then talk to you by radio and assist you as you steer your parachute to the target landing area.
The ultimate adrenaline rush!
Participants must be at least 18 years of age and weigh no more than 260 pounds for men and 200 pounds for women.
All student systems contain a Cypres computer system AAD that will automatically open the parachute at a specific speed and altitude. All parachute systems contain a reserve "back-up" parachute that is regularly maintained and packed by a certified FAA Master Parachute Rigger.
Approximately 2 hours total.
One per jump.
Allowed, one person per participant can ride with the participant in the plane. The rest of the spectators can watch from the ground.
This experience is weather dependent. Always contact the Experience provider with any questions regarding weather conditions.
What to Wear:
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for weather conditions and sneakers. A jumpsuit will be provided.
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 3-5 days in advance.
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given. Rescheduling is allowed up to 14 days prior to your experience, failure to appear on your booked date or to reschedule at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event your experience is canceled due to inclement weather you will reschedule your experience directly with your experience provider
What happens when you exit the plane?
When exiting the plane, the two instructors will be holding the student between them to ensure stability and allow the student an opportunity to successfully complete the freefall portion of the skydive. At the appropriate altitude, the student will be responsible for opening their own parachute system. The student will then pilot their canopy and land their canopy with radio assistance from instructors on the ground.
